In just one hour, you will reach the enchanting town of Lecce in Puglia's southern Salento region, while further north is the breathtaking Matera - once known as ‘the shame of Italy’ and now one of the most coveted destinations in the country.
Beyond the concentration of fascinating sights, Puglia’s renowned food scene is also right on your doorstep. Casa Roverella lies at the heart of the Valle d’Itria surrounded by a quintessentially rolling landscape of ancient olive groves, deep red earth and dry-stone walls.
